WOMEN'S MINISTRIES
MISSIONS

Women's Missionary Union has long been a staple in Southern Baptist churches. The WMU of Friendship Baptist Church seeks to educate and motivate our women to participate in mission activities. Our monthly meetings and quarterly Jubilees serve as a focal point for whole church mission involvement. Annie Armstrong and Lottie Moon focus months promote mission awareness. Participation in Project Angel Tree and Christmas Shoeboxes helped to put a face on missions. Girls in Action - GA, provides mission education and involvement for elementary age girls. Our girls have corresponded with missionaries working in distant lands

OUTREACH

A group of our ladies (and a few helpers) made Mother's Day corsages for residents of a local nursing home. They brought flowers, fruit and cheer to the residents and staff. |

LADIES NIGHT OUT
|
All ladies are invited to participate in a weekly night out. Thursday evenings at 7 PM our ladies meet in the church social hall for a time of Bible Study, Prayer, Exercise and Crafts (with a purpose). Come and bring a friend. |
